Softonium Corporation (Formerly known as Inspirieren Insurance) is a Swiss multinational company founded by Daniel Brunner. And has it's headquaters in Geneva, Switzerland.
Softonium is known for making the infamous PeriodicOS and Xenon Smartwatches. Softonium is also known for almost buying Apple Inc in 2008 because of the money made on their success on PeriodicOS. Switzerland citizens use PeriodicOS and a lot of Softonium's products in the tech industry. Their products are also widely used in North America, other countries in Europe, and Asia.
Softonium was formerly Inspirieren Insurance, they used to be a Swiss insurance company. However, when the company saw the success of the new software industry in 1983. Daniel Brunner had started to invest in the software industry and abandoned the insurance industry. Luckily, other Swiss insurance companies were willing to take Softonium's insurance workers that had left because they didn't have talent for software engineering. And Softoniums workers had switched to other insuarance companies and they had hired other people with talent and knowledge of software engineering.

Softonium was founded in 1954 by Daniel Brunner, originally founded as Inspirieren Insurance. Was a Swiss insurance company and served as a public company. Inspireren Insurance invested spesifically in the car insurance industry out of all the other insurance industry variants since cars were popular in 1954.
At Softonium's founding (Was known as Inspireren Insurance) Daniel Brunner was talking about Inspireren Insurance's ability on it's better coverage than most Swiss companies at the time and their goal on the car insurance market. Which Inspireren Insurance was a success in the insurance industry and was better than 3/4s of the existing car insurance companies in Switzerland at the time.
