Microsoft PocketPC 95 is the first version of Windows for Pocket PCs released on October 1, 1995. The interface is similar to Windows 95 on phones with Keyboards and has a phone UI for regular phones. PPC95 has more built-in programs than its desktop counterpart; these include Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, Pocket Outlook, Pocket Access, Notes and Alarm Clock. It is based on Windows CE 1.0 which was made for phones

Booting[]
PocketPC 95 starts after the device's BIOS beep, indicating that RAM and BIOS are sucessfully loaded. The boot screen shows up with the logo and the "Please wait while PocketPC 95 starts" text. It takes around 10–15 seconds to load into the desktop.
