Lore[]
Origins[]
Alexander Davidson's dream was to develop a low cost, easy to use and highly personal computer since the year 1962 at age 15. In 1969, when he was 22 years old, his dream became a reality. Netium, Microsoft and Apple Computer Inc. were all working on the revolutionary X/DOS and the higher end Star System Manager, both taking approximately 4 years to complete. Both X/DOS and the Star System Manager were scripted in the ANSI C programming language. X/DOS and the original version of ALXERS System Manager both still had hundreds of flaws because it was their first operating system ever. In 1981, they released an upgraded version of X/DOS known as ALXERS Graphical Manager or The ALXERS Graphical Manager 1.0. After the X1 (the 5 or 7 MHz version) was released, he sold it for $499 USD.
1970[]
April 28, 1970, marked the founding date of Star Computing Ltd, a company that would spark a new revolution in the computing industry that would begin a new era in personal computing. At the time, personal computing was very expensive and highly limited. However, with the founding of Star Computing Ltd, Alexander Davidson's dream became a reality in 1969, one year before the company was founded. On April 28, 1970, the Star Computer 1000 was finished with 4 KB of RAM, one 8 inch floppy disk slot with up to 80 KB of built in storage, and a lightweight 4-bit disk operating system that was written in the ANSI C programming language under the collaboration of IBM, known as Star System Manager, but did not use X/DOS, as it began development in 1976 and wasn't released until 1978. There is a known bug in the Star Computer System where whenever you enter the command "notyourstar," it will say "YES MY STAR," the screen will glitch into a pattern of radical rainbow colors, then shut down after around 5 seconds. The Star Computer 1000 is a super rare personal computer that was one of the first computers made by Star Computing Ltd on April 28, 1970, and was one of the world's first affordable personal computers that would later take on the X1 made in 1978. Alexander Davidson later sold it for $475, though not many were made.
1974-1978[]
ALXERS Corporation (an LLC or Limited Liability Company at the time) is a South-Western American computer technology company, fictionally headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, founded on April 28, 1970 (53 years ago, still in operation today) by Alexander Davidson and Florence Haddock as Star Computing Ltd in order to develop microcomputers and to revolutionize computer software. In 1978, the Star Computing Ltd rebranded to ALXERS Computer Systems. Presently, they are well known for their current OS and OS Mini systems. On April 24, 1978, the ALXERS X1 using a P Series motherboard, a 12.5-inch monochrome display, and with an X/DOS operating system was released, and was sold for $625 USD, making it one of the world's first affordable desktop personal computer. There were many variants of it, including a blue variant exclusively to developers only, though was the rarest variant of all. A less rare variant, but still pretty rare, was a higher end black variant with a 10 MHz processor and was sold from Late 1978 to March 1979 for $925 USD.
1979[]
In 1979, the ALXERS Computer Systems made the X-Series Motherboard, which was a budget motherboard for personal computers and used the ALXERS System Manager 79. They were rated the most powerful motherboards of the 1970s. They supported up to 128 KB of RAM and 8 or 5 1/4-inch floppies. The higher end version of the X1, ALXERS Studio X1 Microcomputer was released with two 8-inch floppy disk drives, 16 KB RAM and 1.2 MB of storage. At this time, the revolutionary at the time ALXERS Graphical Manager was beginning development in collaboration with an older technology company founded in the late 60s, known as Netium Group.
1980[]
1980 was a very successful year for ALXERS. They rebranded to ALXERS Computer Company, shortened as ACC. This was the year they introduced the X1 Special Edition, a higher end version of the original Personal Computer with the ALXERS New System Manager, 32 KB RAM, 1.4 MB of storage, an Intel 8088 Processor with a clock speed of 4.7 or 8 MHz, a 14.5-inch cathode-ray tube monochrome display, a black finish, and two 5 1/4-inch floppy disk drives.
1981[]
The ALXERS Computer Company or ACC, rebranded to ALXERS LLC in 1981. The original X1 and the X1 Special Edition were both discontinued on November 25, 1981, the same day The ALXERS Graphical Manager was announced. The ALXERS Graphical Manager got released in America as a countrywide Christmas gift on December 25, 1981, and was released globally on December 29, 1981. The ALXERS Graphical Manager would later succeed to a remade, refined, redesigned and completely new operating system, known as OS, in 1992. The ALXERS Graphical Manager was praised for its many features, a high amount of personalization options, and extensive customization. The ALXERS Graphical Manager was available in two editions, Home and Pro. Devices running The ALXERS Graphical Manager had a black and white monochrome cathode ray tube display, until 1983. They then announced a new supercomputer called the XPower that was announced on November 12, 1981 and would be manufactured until 1985. It used the ALXERS XPower System Manager, which was a high end disk operating system that was developed under collaboration of Netium and IBM.
1983[]
In 1983, ALXERS LLC released their X Series 8 Edition (formally called X8 Edition) Personal Computer, and was their first, and the world's first computer to have a CGA (Color Graphics Adapter) display using Cathode Ray Tube, running The ALXERS Graphical Manager 2.1, had 64 KB of RAM and two 1.24 MB 5 1/4-inch floppy disk drives. This computer was sold for $909 USD, making it one of the most affordable computers for business usage at the time. The display was a 13-inch Color Graphics Adapter display using Cathode Ray Tube technology.
1992[]
In 1992, ALXERS LLC released the first operating system with the OS name, codenamed Illinois. This year was the biggest failure ever for ALXERS, because they received many walk-in and online reports from users about various unfixed bugs of the OS 7 system. These bugs ranged from, but were not limited to screen glitches, the display flashing, the mouse constantly jumping around, keys on the keyboard randomly stop working permanently, and constant system crashes. Because of OS 7 being a failure and many users downgrading their computers to AGM 6.4 until OS 8.0.1 would release, ALXERS ceased support just a year after the operating system released.
2001[]
In 2001, ALXERS OS 11 "Palm Springs" was released and had a very high upgrade rate and was a big success for ALXERS and a big revolution for the computing division in technology. It was deemed as the "Easiest Operating System Yet" on their website because many Windows and OS X versions, including Windows 98, Windows ME and XP, and Mac OS 9 & Mac OS X, were copying the easy-to-use interface of OS 11. On May 13, 2001, Florence Haddock left the company after 23 years of working for ALXERS, including help of collaborating software development for OS 8, OS 9, OS 10 and OS 11.
2004[]
In 2004, ALXERS announced OS Mini for their lower-end mobile computers, cell phones and tablets. A prototype was released in 2003 for developers. OS Mini was released worldwide on May 5, 2006.

Version 6.0.1, released on June 21, 2022, implemented an all new and refined Neptune kernel and many app revamps similar to that of OS 26, but sadly, all versions of the operating system ceased support and were discontinued as of September 21, 2023. A pop-up window now appears every time you start your computer, with no option to not show the popup again, informing you to switch to a new device with OS 27.
Zen TV (2015-2023)[]
Zen TV is an operating system that uses Apple tvOS like design but has more features and voice remote support. One TV is a streaming platform where there are around 1,500 channels on the One TV operating system. Zen TV requires a minimum of 8GB storage and 2GB Onboard memory. Programs like ALXERS Music and Orion Center are pre-installed on Zen TV 12.0 (December 18, 2021). There were plans to allow one to universally run video games digitally from the Orion Center but was never released due to multiple lawsuits from multiple video game development companies. As a result, only Android, OS Mini, Orion, and OS apps and games could be run from the Orion Center.
